Kalmar FF has always had the ambition to be one of Sweden's leading football clubs. With a strong history and passionate supporters, the club is now aiming to build a stronger future. "We aim for the top and will do whatever it takes to get there," says the club's coach Henrik Rydstrom. Much of the focus is on developing the squad and bringing in new talents.

The club management has started a partnership with local schools to discover and nurture young talent. This initiative is crucial for building a sustainable operation. KFF's academy is already renowned, but purposeful recruitment is essential. "We must keep our eyes open and be careful about which players we choose," adds Rydstrom.

Another part of the plans involves improving the stadium to create a better matchday experience for the fans. Sporting success is important, but so is the atmosphere at Guldfågeln Arena. With more events and activities that engage fans, the club hopes to increase attendance.

It is also worth mentioning that Kalmar FF focuses on strengthening its position in the region, collaborating with local businesses to build a community around the team. "We are not just a football club, we are part of Kalmar," Rydstrom concludes. The future ahead for KFF indeed looks promising.
